Enchanted Rock is a pink granite mountain located in the Llano County. Enchanted Rock is designated as a state natural area and popular tourist destination in the county.

Scientists classify the largest pink granite dome as a monadnock, an isolated rock formation which has been pushed above ground by hardened magma rock called a batholith.  A Monadnocks is actually a part of the batholith that pushed it upward past the surface.  The one responsible for Enchanted Rock is named the Town Mountain Granite. The name for the Enchanted Rock is acquired from the early inhabitants of the region.
