The Llano County Museum is located in the former Bruhl’s Drugstore owned by German native Louis Herman Bruhl. This historical museum was originally founded in the year 1900. It was given to the Historical Society in 1965 by the A.H. Bruhl family.
The Museum is funded by the members of the Historical Society, funds from the hotel/motel tax, fund raising activities of the Society and through generous donations of visitors.
Llano County Museum explains everything from geology, early settlement, the bridge, military service, and much more can be explored in the museum.
